Ski resorts Austria
Runs/ski slopes Pitztal Glacier (Pitztaler Gletscher)
There are runs of all difficulty levels on the Pitztal Glacier, the highest ski resort in Austria. Both advanced skiers and beginners can find ideal areas. All of the slopes on the Pitztal Glacier are wide and perfectly groomed. Although the majority of the slopes are intermediate, they are mostly very wide and not too steep which makes them suitable for beginners too. When the snow conditions are good, you can ski with a guide over the Taschachtal off-piste route to the base station of the Gletscherexpress in Mittelberg.
