Nature is a top priority for the Pizolbahnen lift operator too and responsible, considerate and sustainable behaviour is very important. In partnership with myclimate, the Pizolbahnen lift operator is taking active steps to ensure a gentle and sustainable approach to nature and the environment as part of the “cause we care” initiative. Protection of the environment plays an important role in the ski resort, as reflected in the many flora and fauna conservation areas. Renewable energies are used and there is even a wind turbine to generate electricity at the base station. There are no snow-making capabilities on the valley run and it is open only when there is sufficient snow. The cuisine is based mainly on regional produce. Charging points for electric vehicles are available at the base station in Bad Ragaz.
