The ski resort of Postalm is situated between the Wolfgangsee lake and the Lammertal valley in the Province of Salzburg. A mountain road (toll road) leads from Strobl and a mountain road (toll road) leads from Abtenau up to the Postalm. From the Strobl side, the toll charge is included in the ski pass; from Abtenau, part of the toll charge is refunded when you buy a ski pass. Sufficient parking is available at the foot of the slopes. Winter equipment is recommended for the journey as the roads up to the Postalm are relatively steep and narrow in places.
