The ski resort of Radstadt/Altenmarkt is very family-friendly. The resort has a wide selection of attractions for children and families, including the Fichtelland, Funslope Königslehen, Beginner Park Kemahdhöhe and toboggan runs. Children's areas and practice lifts are also located at both base stations in Radstadt and Altenmarkt. There is another children's area at the Kemahdhöhe mountain station. The Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area is ideal for children's ski lessons as a gondola runs up to the summit from both sides. This allows children to be transported without any transfers and with no special supervision.

Fichtelland Hochbifang
The Fichtelland is located right next to the base station in Altenmarkt and is accessed by the Fichtelland button lift. Children can explore the forest and look out for the timid woodland dwellers and different animals. The Kidsrun in the Fichtelland is a thrilling experience for children, with waves and steep turns and a section in the Fichtelwald wooded area.
Funslope Königslehen
The Funslope is great fun for all the family with waves, steep turns, a tunnel, snail and small jumps.
Skischule Radstadt ski school children’s area
The children's area is located at the base station of the Königslehenbahn lift in Radstadt. A people mover, ski carousel and adventure course make learning to ski great fun for kids. They can then progress to the adjacent Königslehen practice lift.
Skischule greenorange Radstadt ski school children's area
The children's area is situated at the mountain station of the Kemahdhöhe. A people mover and an adventure course make learning to ski great fun for kids.
Skischule Happy Altenmarkt ski school children's area
The children's area is located at the base station of the Hochbifangbahn lift in Altenmarkt. This enclosed area has a people mover. Kids can then have fun improving their skills at the adjacent Fichtelland practice lift and in the Fichtelland.
Königslehen toboggan run (Radstadt)
The longest toboggan run in the Salzburger Sportwelt area starts on the Kemahdhöhe in Radstadt. The Königslehen 8-person gondola lift transports you comfortably up to the start for a 6 km ride back down the mountain. Toboggans can be hired at the base station. The floodlit toboggan run is also open in the evening.
Hochnössler toboggan run/Bifei's Hütt'n (Altenmarkt)
This 4 km floodlit toboggan run is fun for the whole family. It starts at the Hochnössleralm or Bifei's Hütt'n. You can walk to the top, take the Rodeltaxi toboggan taxi or drive.
