The Rauris ski resort is completely climate-friendly. The energy required to operate the lifts and snow-production equipment is produced by the Rauris Hochalmbahnen’s resorts own hydraulic power station. The ski resort therefore has a zero-energy balance. Free ski buses provide transportation to the resort from the neighbouring villages. Emissions are offset by climate certificates.
