Access, Parking Riesneralm – Donnersbachwald
The ski resort of Riesneralm is located in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region in the district of Liezen in Styria. Access is generally via the A9 Pyhrn-Autobahn motorway (east) or the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway (west) and then through the Ennstal Valley on the B320 to the Trautenfels junction. From Trautenfels, the well-constructed B75 mountain road (Glattjoch Straße) leads to Donnersbachwald via the villages of Irdning and Donnersbach. Efficient snow clearing makes the drive easier for cars and buses. Large free car parks are located directly at the base station of the Riesnerbahn lift on a flat and generously proportioned area, allowing visitors a stress-free start to the ski day without parking attendants. Additional parking is available right next to the ‘Kinderskischaukel’ children’s ski area.
