A new illuminated slope for the Masto slope area and a new experience for Rudolf's adventure route

Masto slope 34 has been renewed as the slope has gained more length and new lighting. In the coming winter, there will be a Fun Slope, where you can experience the joy of skiing with fun snow shapes and curves. The novelty of Rudolf's Adventure route is an experiential adventure cabin, which you can ski through.

Automated snowmaking system in Vuosseli

In addition to new lifts and slopes, a new automated snowmaking system and energy-efficient and easily adjustable LED lighting have been built in the new slope area. Ruka has had an automated snowmaking system in general use since 2006. With it, snow can be made energy-efficiently when the weather is at its coldest, which also saves water.

Mini Ruka slope are

The smallest skiers will be delighted by the new Mini Ruka slope area, where the familiar animal friends Rosa the bear and Rudolf the reindeer will have adventures along the descents. The animal figures on the slopes have been inspired by the species of Oulanga National Park, and children can find a funny moose, a playful otter, a friendly cuckoo and a brisk hare.

Ruka Park Junior

The novelty of the winter season 2022–2023 is Ruka Park Junior, located next to Vuosseli slopes and Family Park. Ruka Park Junior replaces the former Rosa Park and will offer juniors and beginners a versatile selection of obstacles. Two trick lines will be built on the slope, with press boxes, tubes and jumps of different sizes. A new anchor lift has been built next to Ruka Park Junior, and it is also easy to visit Ruka Park Junior at the end of Vuosseli's popular red slope.
