    Highlights:

    Wide slopes, perfect slope preparation, snow-reliable, “Japow” Japan Powder, great powder snow areas in light woodland, exceptionally friendly and obliging staff, view of the Pacific Ocean and Lake Toya, very good signposting in Japanese and English, free drinking water in restaurants

    Negative points:

    No restaurants on the summit, no connecting slopes between East Mountain and West Mountain, no cross-country trails
