Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn (Skicircus)
Advanced skiers can find challenging runs, such as the Weltcup-Abfahrt, Nordabfahrt, Reichkendlandabfahrt and Tarlackabfahrt. There are also lots of powder snow areas extending all the way down to the valleys. Fieberbrunn has established a reputation as a freeride paradise in recent years. The freeride terrain in the upper ski area on the Hochhörndl is represented by two freeride guiding companies. When fresh snow falls, freeriders flock from all directions to make fresh tracks in the snow. The freeride infrastructure includes sweeping freeride routes at all levels of difficulty, a freeride park at the L6 Muldenbahn 8-person lift in Leogang, check points, a specially developed snow information and avalanche warning system [Schneeinformations- und Lawinenwarnsystem (LO.LA*)], avalanche transceiver search fields and camps.
