Of course there is no huge selection here. A ski area with just one lift usually has only one hut. But what is missing in quantity here, the Koehlerhuette makes up for in quality. Those who do want to try someplace else can also visit the Berggasthof Kahler Asten with its self-service restaurant, good food and great view of the land of 1000 mountains. It's only 300 meters away from the mountain station of the ski lift along a beautiful winter hiking path.

One of the nicest ski huts in Sauerland. It has room for 250 people, a cozy interior and more menu selection than most of the restaurants in the region.
