Snow-reliable rating Sahnehang
The Sahnehang is the highest ski slope in Sauerland. It's located directly on the Kahlen Asten, the most snow-reliable mountain in the region. Even without snow-making equipment, there would normally be about 60-70 ski days in a season. Thanks to the available snow-making technology, they normally get about 100 ski days a year. Meanwhile, even when snow conditions are good, the lift operator doesn't always open the lift.
