The ski resort of Saint-Lary-Soulan is located in the centre of the Pyrenees, on the French side in the Vallée d’Aure. Access from the French side is very easy and with no significant gradients on the roads to Saint-Lary. From the Spanish side, you need to pass through the Túnel de Bielsa-Aragnouet and over mountain passes. There are large car parks at the Saint-Lary village base station (813 metres). Modern gondola lifts take you up to the ski resort from here. A mountain road leads to Espiaube (1,600 metres) and continues to Pla d’Adet (1,700 metres). There are car parks here too. The car parks in Pla d’Adet are mainly reserved for overnight guests. Day visitors can easily get on the gondola lift in Saint-Lary.
