Beginners Schilthorn – Mürren/Lauterbrunnen

Next to the funicular in Mürren, there is a beginner and ski school area with a tow rope lift and people mover. Beginners will also find a pommel lift for practicing at the mountain station of the funicular on the Allmenhubel. Beginners can ski between the Schiltgrad and the Allmendhubel on the easy slopes surrounding Mürren. There are also easy slopes in Birg (2676 m) at the Riggli lift. The slope down to the valley is too difficult though, so it is better for beginners to take the cable car lift down. There are further easy slopes in the area around the Maulerhubel. The very steep slope from the peak of the Schilthorn is taboo for beginners.
