Ski lifts at the ski resort Schilthorn – Mürren/Lauterbrunnen
Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Lifts/cable cars Schilthorn – Mürren/Lauterbrunnen
Four consecutive cable car lifts bring guests from the Stechelberg base station over Gimmelwald, Mürren and Birg up to the peak of the 2970 m high Schilthorn. When there are no crowds, the ascent takes about 30 minutes. The trip up to the Schilthorn is also very popular with non-skiers because of the spectacular panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (Swiss Skyline).
A cable car lift leads from the base station in Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp. From there, a narrow gauge railway takes guests to the Winteregg chairlift up to the ski resort.
There are primarily chairlifts in the ski resort. Some of these are high speed chairlifts with weather protectors. Tow lifts and a funicular complete the lift offering.
