Après-ski Schladming – Planai/Hochwurzen/Hauser Kaibling/Reiteralm (4-Berge-Skischaukel)
In Schladming, you can definitely find good places to party - either at one of the mountain huts and umbrella bars on the Planai or at the base station. The highlights are the Schafalm, the Almrausch umbrella bar and the Hohenhaus Tenne at the base station. There is also no shortage of options for partying later in the evening. On the Hochwurzen, the Seiterhütte and, in particular, the Tauernalm are very lively places. On the Reiteralm, the Hochalm often has live music and a good atmosphere. At the base station, there is the MühlStodl. There are also some cool spots for après-ski on the Hauser Kaibling, such as the AlmArenaA and the Gumpenbar.
Après-ski tip
Hohenhaus Tenne Schladming
At the base station of the Planaibahn lift in Schladming
When the sun disappears from the mountain, the après-ski epicentre definitely moves to the Hohenhaus Tenne. Live acts by famous singing stars raise the atmosphere to a crescendo each week. The bar here is a lively place every day through until the early hours. Top DJs appear on selected days to create a real party atmosphere.
Almrausch Planai
At the mountain station of the Planai 6-person lift at 1,760 m
You can’t miss the Almrausch umbrella bar when you get off the Planai 6-person lift (Fastenbergbahn lift). Changing live acts add to the atmosphere. A ‘Ski Hasen Party’ (ski bunny party) also takes place every Saturday. Last orders are around 6.30 pm and you then need to ski back down to the valley.
AlmAreanA
Right next to the Hauser Kaibling base station
The AlmAreanA offers après-ski including a programme of live acts in a great atmosphere. It is the perfect place to end an eventful ski day on the Hauser Kaibling.
Hochalm & Fassl-Bar
At the intersection of slopes 1 and 2 on the Reiteralm at 1,600 m
The Hochalm is the “place to be” for après-ski on the Reiteralm. Whether in the laid-back Fassl-Bar or on the terrace of the Hochalm, the atmosphere is always good. Live music provides acoustic entertainment.
Tauernalm
At the base station of the Hochwurzen Gipfelbahn lift in Rohrmoos
If you've had enough of skiing, the Tauernalm is the place to go. Three different bars refresh weary winter sports enthusiasts with cool drinks. Accompanied, of course, by the right music. Traditional dishes are also served in the restaurant constructed from local spruce wood.
MühlStodl Reiteralm
At the Reiteralm base station
The MühlStodl in Gleiming is a trendy and modern venue at the base station of the Silver-Jet. A fun end to the day is guaranteed here.
Schaf-Alm
Below the Planaibahn lift mountain station at 1,790 m
As well as excellent food, the Schafalm also offers a great atmosphere. There is often live music at weekends, which you can enjoy on the sun terrace over a drink or two.
Gumpen Bar
Slightly above the base station of the Höfi-Express I at 1,160 m
The Gumpenbar is a modern alpine lounge serving good drinks and little snacks for some very chilled après-ski. You can enjoy an exclusive setting and good music at the end of your ski day here. Opening hours vary depending on the mood of the clientele. Sometimes, the party can go on for quite a while.
Celtic-Bar an der Seiterhütte
At the intersection of slopes 33 and 35 on the Hochwurzen at 1,580 m
Night skiing means that the Seiterhütte can be a party hotspot on the mountain through until 11 pm. Thanks to a DJ, the atmosphere is particularly lively from Thursday to Saturday. Free wifi allows revellers to send party photos straight back to friends at home. The Seiterhütte's Styrian cuisine also makes sure that no-one goes hungry.
Hoo-Ruck Alm
At the base station of the Hochwurzen II chairlift at 1,250 m
Sunny après-ski is the order of the day at the Hoo-Ruck Alm on the Hochwurzen. The spare ribs are also legendary.
