The manageable Schlick 2000 ski resort is very attractive for families and children. Children under 10 years of age can ski for free. The children's area and the childcare offering with a play and warm-up room are located centrally at the Froneben middle station of the Kreuzjochbahn lift and are very well-equipped. Kids can then progress to the Schanzlin practice area right next door. The new Galtbergbahn is also very popular with families.

BIG Ron's children's area

The separate children's area with moving carpets, a snow carousel and lots of attractions is located directly at the middle station of the Kreuzjochbahn lift. Children (from 3 months of age) are cared for in the daycare room of the Schischule Stubai while parents carve their way down to the valley and enjoy their ski day. Those who can do a little more can then progress to the Schanzlin practice area where they can practise lift skills on the tow rope, button lift and tow lift.

BIG Ron’s play and warm-up room & Stubai family nest

BIG Ron’s play and warm-up room & the Stubai family nest are right next to the children's area. Children (from 1 year of age) can take a break from their ski lesson or from skiing with their parents in these communal rooms. As well as play areas, there is a sleep/rest room and a changing table here. No reservation is required.
