Access, Parking Sierra Nevada – Pradollano

The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is the most southerly ski resort in Spain and the only ski resort in Andalusia. The access route is always via Granada. From there, a well-constructed mountain road leads up to Pradollano at 2,100 metres. You park here in a payable multi-storey car park with direct access to the village and gondola lifts. Other than the multi-storey car park, there are very few parking areas. It is, however, possible to drive to hotels or apartments that have their own car park. At weekends and on public holidays in particular, high volumes of traffic and delays should be expected when arriving and leaving. You should also be prepared for the typical short periods of wintry weather in high alpine terrain. Even here in the south of Spain, the weather can change very suddenly at times.
