A visit to the mine at the middle station is offered as an alternative to skiing and the toboggan run with snow-making capabilities that leads from the middle station down to the valley is also very popular.

Toboggan run
The 600 m long winter toboggan run begins at the middle station of the chair lift. The soft snow-making supports the snow reliability. Toboggans can be rented at the base station and brought up with the chair lift. You can enjoy a break and the view on the way down at the Bergmannschaenke. It's fun for the whole family.
Silberberg Mine
The historical Bodenmais mine in Silberberg is located at the middle station. During the tour of the over 600 m long "Barbarastollen", you will be led deep into the depths of the Silberberg to a huge cavity, the "Grossen Barbaraverhau". You will experience the operation of impressive machinery and mining shafts. During the presentation of the hard work underground, you will be transported to another time and place.
