Ski lifts at the ski resort Silvretta Montafon
The ski resort of Silvretta Montafon has modern lifts. Gondola lifts transport visitors up the mountain from almost all points in the valley. Since the 2021/2022 season, the brand-new and partially autonomously operated Valisera 10-person gondola lift has been running up to the ski resort from St. Gallenkirch in 2 sections. The new base station including the Silvretta Park Montafon is the new hub and focal point in Silvretta Montafon. In the Nova area of the ski resort, there are almost exclusively modern chairlifts, some with weather-protection covers and heated seats. Since the winter of 2016/2017, the fastest 8-person chairlift in Vorarlberg, with weather-protection covers and heated seats, has been operating here. The Silvretta lift transports winter sports enthusiasts up the mountain at 6 m/s. In the Hochjoch area of the ski resort, the main connections are provided by 8-person gondola lifts, one 8-person chairlift and other chairlifts. Tow lifts and button lifts round off the selection of lifts in the ski resort. Moving carpets are provided for beginners. The ski schools operate many more moving carpets.
