The main ski area on the Schatzberg and Wiedersberger Horn offers a lot of variety. The Wiedersberger Horn sports mountain in the Alpbachtal valley impresses with long slopes and freeriding terrain. The Schatzberg mountain in the Wildschönau valley is known for its long, wide slopes. The Alpbach-Wildschönau connecting lift makes it possible to quickly change to a different ski mountain.
As well as the main ski resort, there are additional ski areas in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau: You can find demanding slopes in the Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl ski area in Niederau in the Wildschönau valley. The Reither Kogel in Reith im Alpbachtal is a family and night-skiing mountain with easy and intermediate slopes. The ski lifts in Oberau and on the Roggenboden in the Wildschönau valley are mainly easy and suitable for beginners, as is the ski lift in Alpbach in the Alpbachtal valley. Night-skiing is also available on the Roggenboden as well as on the Reither Kogel.
