Lifts/cable cars Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau

The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau has very many modern lifts. Gondola lifts travel up to the main ski resort from Auffach in the Wildschönau and from the Alpbachtal valley. The Alpbach-Wildschönau connecting lift, an 8-person gondola lift, provides a high-speed link between the Wiedersberger Horn in the Alpbachtal valley and the Schatzberg in the Wildschönau. The very modern Hornbahn 2000 6-person chairlift was introduced in the 2022/2023 season and travels to the highest point in the ski resort. This is the site of the impressive 360° observation tower at the “Top of Alpbachtal”.

The main lifts on the Wiedersberger Horn are fast 6-person chairlifts with weather-protection covers and heated seats, and on the Schatzberg fast 6-person chairlifts. Several tow lifts and a moving carpet at the Schatzberg Zwergenland (Dwarfland) are provided for beginners. The ski schools operate additional moving carpets.

There are additional ski lifts in the two valleys as well as those in the main ski area. In Niederau in the Wildschönau (Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl), there is a gondola lift, a detachable chairlift with covers and lots of tow lifts. Tow lifts run in the valley in Oberau, Roggenboden, Alpbach and Kramsach. On the Reither Kogel in Reith im Alpbachtal, a modern gondola lift takes you up the mountain and additional tow lifts are also available.
