The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is one of the largest and most family-friendly ski resorts in Tyrol. It connects the two high Tyrolean valleys of Alpbachtal and Wildschönau. The main ski area in the Ski Juwel extends over the Schatzberg and the Wiedersberger Horn. The highest point in the ski resort is at the “Top of Alpbachtal”, with a 360° observation tower at 2,032 metres. In the Wildschönau valley, there is also the Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl ski area in Niederau. In the Alpbachtal, there is the Reither Kogel ski area in Reith im Alpbachtal. Beginners’ lifts are also available in Oberau and Roggenboden in the Wildschönau valley and in Alpbach in the Alpbachtal valley.
