Cross-country trails start in Going, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll, Itter, Hopfgarten, Westendorf and Brixen im Thale. There are even cross-country trails leading to St. Johann in Tirol and Kitzbühel. It is easy to see why the Wilder Kaiser is the venue for the Koasalauf cross-country race.
