From a self-service restaurant to cosy mountain huts with table service or the highest revolving restaurant in Austria, the selection covers the full spectrum. Restaurants are distributed evenly throughout the ski resort. Around 80 ski huts, mountain restaurants, sun terraces and snow bars provide opportunities for breaks. The atmosphere is relaxed, hospitable and full of Tyrolean charm. In purely statistical terms, there is an opportunity to stop for a break every 3.4 kilometres! In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental (and, of course, in other ski resorts too), you can enjoy the world's best ‘Jagatee’ (rum/brandy punch) produced by the Aggstein family from Going. The Aggstein family has received this accolade several times in succession.

KRAFTalm
At the middle station of the Salvistabahn Itter lift at 1,355 metres
The Kraftalm serves lovingly prepared traditional cuisine and local specialities. You can start your day on the slopes with breakfast in the Kraftalm (reservation required). Regional dishes using local produce are served at lunchtime. The bar is an inviting place to spend some time and there is a sun terrace for sunny days. Views of the Hohe Salve and Inntal Valley are included.
Umadum Stubn – Gipfelalm Hohe Salve
Revolving restaurant at the summit of the Hohe Salve at 1,829 metres in the Gipfelalm Hohe Salve
The Umadum Stubn is the highest revolving restaurant in Austria. The slogan is: “Revolve – See – Enjoy”. An amazing view of 73 three-thousand metre peaks awaits you. In a cosy atmosphere with rustic wooden decor, diners can enjoy delicious dishes and specialities.
Das Brixx
At the Hopfgarten base station in the Hohe Salve Resort
The Brixx restaurant & wine bar serves high-quality cuisine and a fine selection of wines. It is a successful blend of dining, relaxation, atmosphere and design. It is also an ideal place to stop off after an action-packed day on the slopes. In fine weather, you can also sit outside and enjoy the sun.
Bergrestaurant Treichlhof
At the Hausbergabfahrt run from Going towards Ellmau at 1,140 metres
The Treichlhof was completely renovated and reopened in the 2020/21 season. It serves good traditional Tyrolean cuisine. The whole family is involved here and the boss himself works in the kitchen. There are breathtaking views of the Wilder Kaiser from the restaurant and sun terrace.
KaiserLounge
At the Hartkaiser mountain station in Ellmau at 1,555 metres
The KaiserLounge is situated on the upper floor of the Panoramarestaurant Bergkaiser. It has 200 seats and opened in 2014. It serves culinary specialities, even including weekly sushi on the mountain.

Rübezahlalm
At the Ellmau valley run at 1,200 metres
The former Kössleralm, now the "Rübezahl-Alm", in Ellmau/Tyrol was built in 1778 and has been family-owned ever since. Diners can enjoy traditional Tyrolean home cooking here and can end their day on the slopes on the sun terrace or at the open fire.
Stoagrub‘n Hütte
At the mountain station of the Schernthannbahn lift in Hopfgarten at 1,535 metres
The table-service Stoagrub‘n Hütte offers a cosy lounge with an open fireplace and a large sun terrace with beautiful views. It serves fine Tyrolean cuisine.
Höllenauer Kreuz
At the easy valley run in Going at 1,005 metres
The Jausenstation Höllenauer Kreuz is a cosy restaurant serving good home-cooked Tyrolean fare. It is worth a stop here and in fine weather you can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the view.
Salvenalm
At the slope to the middle station in Hopfgarten at 1,278 metres
Cosy hut with an open fireplace and bar. The large sun terrace is a good place to spend some time and enjoy the amazing view.
Kummereralm
At the Kummerer Almbahn lift (Scheffau) at 1,480 metres
Cosy hut serving regional specialities and with a beautiful sun terrace.
Stöcklalm
Below the Hochsöll middle station at 1,130 metres
The rustic, friendly mountain hut offers table service and self service. It is also open for night skiing. You can enjoy a good view of the slopes in Söll from the sun terrace.
jezz AlmResort
At the run from the Astberg to Ellmau at 1,210 metres
The former Brenneralm is now the jezz AlmResort. There is no mass production here - it is all about pure pleasure. Delicious snacks, attentive service, all in a relaxed atmosphere and with a view of the Wilder Kaiser.
Holzalm
At the Holzalm run number 5 in Brixen im Thale at 1,504 metres
The dishes are lovingly prepared by hand using fresh regional produce. Diners can look forward to traditional specialities and Austrian classics.
Jochstub'n
Between Zinsberg and Eiberg (Scheffau) at 1,634 metres
Rustic hut with a bar and sun terrace. You can start après-ski here in the afternoon.
Tanzbodenalm
On the Osthang (east slope - Scheffau)
The menu ranges from hearty fare to fine dining, home-made cakes and a ‘hut breakfast’.
Ellmauer Alm
On the ski meadow in Ellmau
The Ellmauer Alm is the après-ski highlight in Ellmau with genuine Tyrolean hospitality in an original rustic wood lounge! In winter, the “Alm” is open daily until late into the night. There is also daily live music.
Kandleralm
At the Kandleralmabfahrt run to Brixen im Thale at 1,120 metres
The Kandleralm serves traditional Austrian cuisine.
