Runs/ski slopes Snowbasin
Snowbasin offers over 110 different runs and varied terrain for every type of skier. Groomed and ungroomed slopes, easy to difficult slopes, beginners’ areas, family-friendly slopes, powder slopes, steep gladed runs, tree skiing and vast bowls promise lots of thrills inside the monitored ski area boundaries.
The majority of the runs are intermediate and difficult. Easy slopes can be found in the lower area. Gentle hills and striking cliff faces under Mount Ogden are characteristic of Snowbasin. As a venue for some of the ski events at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, it offers legendary runs. The snow quality is often very good.

Slope tip
- Grizzly Downhill
The slope was developed specially for the Olympic downhill course in 2002 and starts at Allen Peak. It was the venue for the men’s downhill event. - Wildflower Downhill
This slope was the venue for the women's downhill event in the 2002 Winter Olympics. - Elk Ridge
Beautiful panoramic views of Great Salt Lake. The starting point is the Strawberry Gondola mountain station.
