Thanks to the often abundant snowfalls, Snowbird is also a hotspot for freeriders – with lots of difficult slopes that are secured and marked but not groomed. The ski resort of Snowbird borders directly with the neighbouring ski resort of Alta and there is also the option of skiing through a ‘gate’ to the other ski resort.
