Access, Parking Snowbird

The ski resort of Snowbird in the state of Utah is situated south east of Salt Lake City in the Wasatch Mountains. The ski resort is just 35 minutes or so from Salt Lake City and around 45 minutes from the international airport. The journey takes you over a mountain road through Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Administrative directives apply for winter driving conditions (UDOT Traction Law: rules for snow chains, winter tyres and/or four-wheel drive). The road can be closed at times due to avalanche risk.

There is generally ample parking at the base stations. The car parks further away from the slopes are free of charge. A charge applies for the car parks closer to the slopes, with reservation or a parking service.
