As the first indoor ski hall in the Netherlands, SnowWorld Rucphen-Breda opened on January 20, 1996, under its previous name Rucphen Skidôme. The pioneer of indoor ski halls in the Netherlands, Nicky Broos, opened the ski hall at that time with 200 m of slopes. After the expansion in 2011, the entire facility, now featuring 500 m of ski slopes, is served by three magic carpets, a platter lift, a rope tow, and a Rotondo carousel from SunKid.
