New restaurant Gaislachkogl middle station

Light-flooded, high rooms with large panoramic windows create a highly appealing atmosphere where also the majestic Ötztal mountains take a seat right at your table. Nature experience close up is ensured even more on one of the two south-facing sun terraces. Both restaurants are directly connected to the slopes or can be reached via a ski bridge.

Expansion tobogganing track Sölden

The length of the new toboggan run from the middle station of Gaislachkogl gondola to Sölden will cover remarkable 7.2 kilometers. The final construction works for this project will take place in the 2019 summer. In the current winter season, passionate tobogganists can enjoy the already existing 1.5 km route from "Stiegele" down to the valley.

The New Hochsölden- Rotkogl Gondola

In perfect line with the high-quality accommodation offer, guests in Hochsölden will benefit from a state-of-the-art feeder mountain lift straight to the ski area from the 2019/2020 winter season onwards. Bergbahnen Sölden are planning a 10-seater gondola lift which replaces the current double chairlift.

One skipass for all Ötztal Ski Areas - 356 km of ski slopes, 90 mountain lifts and 6 ski areas - the new Ötztal Super Skipass gives unlimited access to all ski slopes in the valley. 007 ELEMENTS - A JAMES BOND CINEMATIC INSTALLATION

James Bond Installation in Sölden - Now open, 007 ELEMENTS is a world-first — a cinematic installation dedicated to the world of James Bond.The installation focuses on the most recent film, Spectre, which was shot in Sölden, but also showcases the other titles in the 24-film series.It is housed inside a beautiful, bespoke building designed and constructed by Obermoser arch-omo zt gmbH inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain in Sölden, more than 3,000-metres above sea level.

New Rettenbach Glacier Restaurant

Just in time for the upcoming 2017/18 season Bergbahnen Sölden will build a new gastronomical highlight at Rettenbach Glacier (2675 m). From October 2017 onwards, the completely rebuilt restaurant will open its doors. In addition to a huge self-service restaurant there is also a new restaurant with table service and terrace, a day bar with homey lounge and an ice bar with movable roof. Also the renowned Europa Test Center, featuring the world's leading winter sport brands, is newly designed.

New Giggijoch lift (1,362 - 2,283 m)

The Bergbahnen Sölden lift company opened a new and very modern feeder lift to the Giggijoch in the 2016/2017 winter season. The new 10-person single circulating ropeway lift features a record transport capacity of 4,500 persons/hour, but also impresses when it comes to comfort.

Adrenalin Cup

The Adrenalin Cup is a fully-automatic competition with 10 disciplines that is open to everyone. Photos and videos are automatically made of each run and the participants can view them on the internet. Participation is possible at any time, but you must purchase an Adrenalin Pass for € 5.00/day in order to participate. The Adrenalin Pass can also be added as a ski pass upgrade at all ski pass ticket desks.

World's First Adrenalin Cup in Sölden

Get ready for a top class winter! In the 2014/2015 Adrenalin Cup in Sölden, there are 10 disciplines waiting for you - from giant slalom to flight. Measure yourself against your friends and relatives and experience a unique ski adventure throughout the winter. Everyone can participate: no matter how old, whether in pink or blue, whether on skis or a board. Try out all 10 disciplines as often as you like, improve your performance and gather points. The best performance in each discipline counts. The more disciplines you conquer, the better your score.
AdrenalinPass: Available at all Bergbahn Sölden ticket desks or on adrenalincup.soelden.com as of winter season 2014/2015. The cost is 5.00 Euro per day (max. of 25.00 Euro per ski pass).
All 10 disciplines are measured electronically. Depending on the competition, you are filmed fully-automatically in action videos or cool fun photos are taken. All scores, times, videos and photos can be viewed using your ski pass on adrenalincup.soelden.com.

Restaurant Ice Q on the Gaislachkogl (3,048 m)

In December 2013, the Bergbahnen Sölden lift company opened a new innovative restaurant on the Gaislachkogl ski mountain. Unique: the modern architecture built with local materials, top cuisine and a suspension bridge leading directly to the peak. In combination with the leading edge Gaislachkogl lift, the new culinary meeting spot on the peak has become a multi-functional and completely barrier-free gourmet experience at 3,048 meters!
