Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Sölden
Sölden is a paradise for advanced skiers. In addition to the many challenging slopes, there is a lot of powder terrain. Whether on one of the two glaciers, the Gaislachkogl or on the Giggjoch - the powder freaks will get their money's worth. The Gaislachkogl is known as the freerider mountain in the Ötztal. There is a Freeride Check here with all important information. You can generally find steep chutes, cliffs, powder slopes and firn slopes in all directions. Due to the high alpine terrain and the related dangers, it is strongly recommended that you ski with an experienced guide.
