The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Solitude
Solitude is very popular with experts and freeriders. The ski resort has very high volumes of fresh snow and has a reputation for its excellent snow quality. It regularly offers great powder skiing. The powder snow can remain untouched for days.
Lots of challenges can be found within the ski resort boundaries: steep slopes, tree skiing, steep bowls, cliffs, mogul slopes and powder slopes. The powder slopes within the ski resort boundaries are monitored and you can virtually ski everything. Particularly worthy of a mention are the steep areas in Honeycomb Canyon and at the Summit Express and Powderhorn II chairlifts.
- very many freeride/deep snow areas
- many mogul slopes
- many extremely difficult, steep and unprepared runs (Double Diamonds)
