2020/2021


REFUND PROMISE SEASON SKI PASS

If ski operations in all Alpen Plus areas are interrupted or permanently discontinued during the 2020/21 ski season due to an officially ordered, pandemic-related closure between December and March, the season pass holder will receive a refund of 25% for each full calendar month lost, up to a maximum of 100% of the purchase price, minus a one-time processing fee of 20 euros. For this, an informal application must be sent to info@alpenplus

Moving carpet at the base station of the Sutten 4-person chairlift

Spitzingsee has invested in visitor comfort and over the summer months installed a moving carpet at the base station of the Suttenbahn lift allowing easier access to the 4-person chairlift.

Free night ski bus on floodlit evenings

New service: free night ski bus on floodlit evenings from/to the Schliersee lake with a connection to BOB train service Outward journey from 6 pm, return journey from 9.30 pm.

Discontinuation of winter operation on the Taubenstein

From the 2015/2016 season, the Alpenbahnen Spitzingsee lift operator has discontinued winter operation on the Taubenstein and left the entire area for tourers.

Floodlit skiing

Floodlit skiing on the Stümpfling every Thursday and Friday from 6.30 pm until 9.30 pm. Wednesday evenings can be booked for exclusive corporate events, ski races, group or club events. The slope is always freshly groomed before night skiing.

New snow-making capabilities on the Roßkopf

The both popular and demanding Roßkopf run can now be completely covered by artificial snow, as can the Sutten and Stümpfling runs.

The snowboard manufacturer Burton has chosen Spitzingsee as a representative German base and concluded an exclusive contract with the ski resort; the selection of kickers and rails will be expanded each year
