Trail map and overview maps
Piste maps in several languages are available at all ticket desks and cable car stations. The piste map includes all ski areas in Gastein. It shows all lifts and slopes. The highlights in the ski areas are also included. Sportgastein is slightly overshadowed on the map and could be shown in a larger display.
Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes
Panoramic information boards showing the latest updates can be found at the mountain, base and middle stations. They also provide a detailed overview of Sportgastein. Signposting and marking on the slopes are very good. An extra warning is provided before the steep “S5” slope. There is a Freeride Info Base and Freeride Info Points.
