New Zugerberg and Madlochbahn

The two chair lifts are now being retired after more than 50 years of service. From the winter season 2021/22 onwards they will be replaced by two state-of-the-art lifts that will take skiers up into the unique winter pleasures of Ski Arlberg even more quickly and in more comfort. The timings of the two new lifts are perfectly synchronised to effectively minimise waiting times.

Arlberg connection lift in winter 2016/2017!

The circle is complete!As of the 2016/2017 winter season, a new chapter begins: The Flexen lift, the new connection lift between Zürs and Alpe Rauz, as well as the new lifts constructed in 2016 – the Trittkopf I and II and the Albona lift II lifts close the loop making Ski Arlberg Austria’s largest combined ski resort. Free camera test & film cutTest the newest video cameras, action camcorders and ski goggles with integrated cameras for the entire day free of charge. The professional film team from MotionManager will support you with tips and tricks about the operation, camera settings and mounting and even video editing - there is a professional available for all areas.From 15.01 - 13.03.2016, a free video editing workshop is offered. The courses will be adjusted to match your interests and the equipment available to you! Were you aware that you can also create breath-taking films with your smartphone or tablet? All those who are interested in video editing can also have their videos edited by a professional free of charge!All submitted videos will be included in the Mountain Video Award competition! Interesting prizes can be won, such as GoPro cameras, innovative accessories from SP Gadgets or a weekend of skiing in St. Anton am Arlberg.

The new restaurant on the Gampen (St. Anton am Arlberg)

Before its 60th anniversary last summer, the mountain restaurant at 1850 m elevation was completely rebuilt. As of this winter, skiers making curves between Nasserein, Gampen and Kapall can enjoy this special restaurant. The restaurant features including matured timber, shingles and glass characterize the different dining rooms. A large self-service area, a wait-staffed restaurant and a bar with lounge are available.

2014/2015


New Pauli's Pistenregeln (slope rules) slope (Warth)

The Warther family slope guarantees skiing enjoyment for young and old from the mountain station of the Warther-Horn-Express/Jäger-Express to the base station of the Steffisalp-Express. As of the 2014/2015 winter season, the sunny slope No. 286 also includes the informational and entertaining journey through the world of slope rules. The mascot Pauli explains the 10 FIS slope rules of the international ski association to children and their parents.

New Dorfabfahrt (village slope) Nesslegg-Schröcken (Schröcken)

With the new Dorfabfahrt No. 256, skiing is made even more comfortable in the Warth-Schröcken ski area. It provides a connection to the Nesslegg district as well as the village center of Schröcken. This enables approx. 600 guests to ski directly to their accommodations. With 4,020 meters length, slope No. 256 is the longest in the ski resort. The starting point of the red (easy to intermediate) slope is the Skischaukel Falken mountain station.

Connection between Warth-Schröcken and Lech-Zürs am Arlberg

The Lech Zürs and the Warth-Schröcken ski resorts have been connected with the 10-person Auenfeldjet gondola lift. The new ski resort, Lech Zürs and Warth-Schröcken, is the largest ski resort in Vorarlberg with 190 km of slopes.

New Funslope (St. Anton am Arlberg)

As of winter 2013/2014, a funslope will be available on the Galzig, between the Osthang lift and the Zammermoos lift!A funslope is a hybrid between a slope and a snowpark with elements from the cross area. The elements are similar to those in a beginner snowpark, such as boxes and smaller jumps. However, what makes the funslope so special are playful elements like bridges, tunnels or the “snail”.

Ski*Arlberg App

Access to all information about the ski resort with your smartphone - free of charge! Including a tracker: you can use the app to view your kilometers skied and vertical meters. Everyone who participates is entered into sweepstakes!

Everyone can make their own ski video and download it using Skiline on the Skimovie course near the Steffisalp-Express. The video can help you analyze your freestyle/carving skills and can be sent to your friends.

For the first shreds over boxes and jibs, the newly constructed Funslope Steffisalp is a popular meeting point. Whether in a ski course, with the family or with friends - the funslope is the ideal practice area for rookies.
