Beginners St. Anton/St. Christoph/Stuben/Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken – Ski Arlberg

The entire Ski Arlberg ski resort is very suitable for beginners. There are practice slopes at all villages in the valley and easy slopes throughout the ski resort.

In St. Anton am Arlberg, St. Christoph and Stuben, there are many practice lifts and people movers with good practice slopes near the base. At the mountain station of the Gampen lift, there is also a beginner area. Some wide and easy slopes are also located between Galzig and Kapall.

The Weibermahd, Oberlech and Schlegelkopf slopes in Lech are also easy slopes. Beginners can even ski on easy slopes from the Rüfikopf to Zürs. However, they must take the ski bus back because the slope over the Madloch is not recommended for beginners. In Zürs, there is also a practice area and blue slopes for advanced beginners at the 6-person Übungshang (practice slope) chairlift. In Lech, there are also practice lifts and slopes at the base.

There is a perfect practice area on the Hochtannberg Pass between the Körb lift and the Kuchl lift. It is also possible to ski from the Kuchl lift to the Jägeralp Express, over to the Hochalp lift and the Falken ski area, and then back again to the Kuchl lift. Beginners can ski from Warth to the Hochtannberg Pass and back on the easy slopes thereby exploring the entire Warth/Schröcken section of the ski resort.

The slopes in Zug, on the Steinmähder, Trittkopf, on the Albonagrat and the Schindler Spitze are taboo for beginners.
