Access & on-site parking
Access to St. Moritz is via various mountain passes or through the Vereina Tunnel (with car transporter). St. Moritz is 2.5 hours from Zurich, 4 hours from Munich, around 3 hours from Milan and 2.5 hours from Innsbruck. The nearest motorways are relatively far from the ski resort. You can park right next to the ski lifts in Celerina and St. Moritz Bad. There are two car parks actually in St. Moritz. From the Serletta car park (at the train station), you need to walk through the village to the Chantarellabahn lift. The Quadrellas car park with 300 spaces is just 80 metres or so from the Chantarellabahn lift. There is another entry point in Suvretta. There is usually a fee for parking. Those who can afford to do so travel to the Engadin St. Moritz region by private jet and land at the nearby Samedan private airport. Winter Closure
The Albula Pass closes in winter and the Flüela Pass generally closes too. Access is via Lower Engadin or Savognin. Visitors should always check the latest travel information as some roads can often be closed temporarily due to snowfall.
