With the comprehensive Clean Energy project, St. Moritz/Engadin was the first alpine holiday and sport destination in the world to commit consistently to renewable energy and efficient energy use. Information on sorting and prevention of waste is also displayed in all lifts. The slope grooming machines on Corviglia are equipped with exhaust particle filters. Diesel hybrid machines are also used.
