Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort St. Moritz – Corviglia
The Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG lift operator is often, quite rightly, described as a pioneer of sustainability. The construction of the Nair Pitschen second natural reservoir allows the resort to reuse 100% melted snow water for technical snow production in the ski resort. With the comprehensive Clean Energy project, St. Moritz/Engadin was the first alpine holiday and sport destination in the world to commit consistently to renewable energy and efficient energy use. Information on sorting and prevention of waste is also displayed in all lifts. The slope grooming machines on Corviglia are equipped with exhaust particle filters. Diesel hybrid machines are also used.
- Train connection
Travelling by train is a very good option. Trains run by the Swiss rail operator SBB provide a key service. The train stations are in St. Moritz and Celerina. - Comprehensive ski bus network
- Scheduled buses
