Access, Parking Steinplatte-Winklmoosalm – Waidring/Reit im Winkl
The entry points to the ski resort are in Reit im Winkl-Seegatterl in Germany and in Waidring in Austria. On the German side, the ski resort is about 30 kilometres from the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway and offers sufficient parking at the Seegatterl base station. The modern 8-person gondola lift has made the bus ride from Seegatterl to the Winklmoosalm a thing of the past. The journey to Waidring is quick on the Inntalautobahn motorway. A gondola takes you up to the ski resort from Waidring. There is no valley run to Waidring. It is also possible to drive up to the Kammerkör car park from Waidring. You need to pay a toll to use the road and it climbs steeply up the mountain.
