Beginners Stubai Glacier (Stubaier Gletscher)

A perfect beginner area is found in the area surrounding the Gamsgarten mountain station. There is a publicly-accessible covered people mover as well as the people movers operated by the ski school in the BIG Family Ski-Camp right on the Gamsgarten. Beginners can improve their skills on the practice slopes at the Gamsgarten tow rope lift and at the Kitz pommel lift. The Murmele and Rotadl chairlifts on the Gamsgarten provide access to very wide and easy slopes. The upper area of the ski resort can be almost entirely explored on easy slopes. Many flat and wide glacier slopes are especially suitable for beginners. The ski routes to the base are challenging, so beginners should take a lift back down. Ski schools, ski rental services and ski depot stations round of the very good offering for beginners.
