Lifts/cable cars Stubai Glacier (Stubaier Gletscher)

As of the 2016/2017 season, the new, ultra-modern 3-S Eisgrat lift brings guests up to the Stubai Glacier. It is the longest 3-S lift in the Alps and leads from the Mutterbergalm to the Fernau middle station and up to the Eisgrat at 2900 m. The smooth ride, comfortable design and free WLAN during the short transport time of only 10.7 minutes make the lift one of the highlights of the ski resort. A completely new base station with a large ski depot was also built beneath the Mutterbergalm. Additionally, you can access the Gamsgarten from the valley via the Fernau middle station with the Gamsgarten 6-person gondola lift.
Up on the Stubai Glacier, there is a good mixture of gondola lifts, chairlifts and tow lifts. The most-used chairlifts are detachable (high speed) and have weather protectors.
