Ski slopes Tärnaby
There are runs of all difficulty levels in the ski resort of Tärnaby. The majority are easy and intermediate and pass through forest glades down to the valley. The Swedish ski stars Ingemar Stenmark and Anja Pärson, who took gold in Slalom in the 2006 Winter Olympics, trained regularly in Tärnaby. Cat tracks link the two sides of the ski resort. There is a beautiful view of the Gäuta lake and the vast landscapes of northern Sweden from all the slopes.
