Environmental protection of the ski resort Tauplitz – Bad Mitterndorf

The Tauplitz ski train transports visitors free of charge from the train station, accommodation and car parks to the Tauplitz base station. Ski buses run from Bad Mitterdorf. The entire ski resort is connected to a sewage system and has the highest natural gas pipeline in Styria. In addition, Tauplitzalm with its wide selection of accommodation is a car-free zone in winter. Flora and fauna conservation areas have been set up.

    Tauplitz train station (ÖBB train operator) is situated around 2 km from the Tauplitzbahn lift. The ski train tractor (free for ski pass holders) runs between the train station and the base station. There is also a train station in Bad Mitterndorf.
