On the Lawinenstein at 1,880 m

Opened in 2006, the Kriemandl is the highest ski hut in Styria. It was constructed using local spruce wood in log cabin style and has a very cosy atmosphere. It comes complete with a sun terrace offering an amazing 360° panoramic view.

Schöni Alm

On the slope to the Mittersteinbahn lift, section 1 at 1,550 metres

This ski hut, which was built in 1978, has been completely modernised, renovated and converted to create a very cosy, rustic ski hut. It serves regional specialities and accompanying wines. Its fondue evenings are a particular culinary highlight. Many people also drive here over the cleared toll road.

ÖAV Berggasthof Hollhaus

At the Hollhaus lift

The Berggasthof Hollhaus is a rustic and cosy ski hut in the middle of the ski resort. It serves Styrian specialities, including Kasnocken (cheese gnocchi) with original Styrian cheese, Bauerngröstl (fried potatoes, beef and onions) and Kaspressknödel (fried cheese dumplings) soup. The sun terrace is an inviting place to spend some time.
