Thanks to its favourable geographic location, Tauplitz is one of the most snow-reliable areas in the Alps. Records show snow depths of up to 4 metres. In March, there can be up to 3 metres of snow. The resort’s snow-production equipment is also very efficient. The water level of the Großsee natural reservoir was raised in 2015 and investments are continuously being made in snow-making technology.
