Beginners Telluride
Beginners will find their best conditions from Mountain Village to Meadows and over to Ute Park. Ute Park is located up on the mountain and access is provided especially for beginners with a detachable (rapid) quad chair lift. Many easy and very easy slopes lead from Ute Park down into the valley to Meadows. The easy slopes from Mountain Village end here as well. There are also two j-bar lifts available for beginners. There are even easy slopes leading from Ute Park into the Prospect Bowl.
Beginners can master the Telluride Trail down to Telluride, which is almost a ski path. However, the upper part of the ski resort is reserved for the advanced skiers.
