Thredbo is known for its challenging slopes, such as the famous “Big 5”. These are the longest runs in Australia. Difficult runs are distributed all over the ski resort. In the Golf Course Bowl, The Basin and Central Spur areas, there are freeride and powder slopes on sometimes extremely steep terrain.
