Beginners Tignes/Val d'Isère
Beginners’ areas have been set up in very many places in the ski resort of Tignes/Val d'Isère. There are even free practice lifts for beginners (Tignes 1550 Les Brévières, Tignes 1800, Tignes 2100 Lavachet-Le Lac, Tignes Val Claret and Val d'Isère 1850). There are numerous easy slopes and special slopes for slow skiing (‘piste tranquille’, shown in green on the piste map) in the winter sports resort. A very large area with slopes for slow skiing is located at the Rocher de Bellevard mountain station between Val d'Isère and Tignes.
