Thanks to its altitude, the entire Tignes/Val d'Isère ski resort is very snow-reliable. Almost all runs are above 1,850 metres. Good snow conditions are guaranteed from November through until May. The snow conditions on the two glaciers of Grande Motte (Tignes) and Glacier de Pissaillas (Val d'Isère) are always good. All of the main runs have snow-making capabilities down to the base. Summer skiing is even possible on the two glaciers.
