Todtnauberg is one of the highest villages in the Black Forest. The entire ski resort is located above 1000 m elevation, so the lifts in Todtnauberg are often open while others in the Black Forest are still closed. The slopes at the Stuebenwasen lift and the floodlit slope at the Kapellen lift have snow-making capabilities.
