Good places to stop for a break are distributed around the ski resort of Trysil. Most of the restaurants are located around the different base stations. In Skihytta, Knettsetra and Fjellroa, you can eat at restaurants in the middle of the ski resort. They are mainly self-service. Cash is no longer accepted in any of the restaurants.

Taste Trysil
In the Trysil Turistsenter at 460 metres
In the Taste, diners are served directly at the table. The menu appeals to both Norwegian and international visitors, with dishes ranging from salads to burgers and pasta. As well as fine meat with side dishes too, of course. There is also a wide selection of wines with 150 different varieties and cocktails.
Skihytta Trysil
At the Skihytta Ekspress base station at 819 metres
The rustic mountain hut dates back to 1977. The restaurant serves very good food and a wide selection of wines. A great bar and après-ski complete the attractions. There is a sun terrace for sunny days.
Restaurant Fjellroa
At the Toppekspressen at 860 metres
The Fjellroa restaurant has five metre high panoramic windows, a fireplace, a large sun terrace and fantastic views. It serves burgers, Asian bowls, wraps, pastries, ice cream, soft drinks, different draught beers, wine, a wide selection of coffees and hot chocolate.
Barbacoa Trysil
At the Fjellekspressen base station in the Trysil Turistsenter at 460 metres
The Barbacoa Trysil offers everything you could possibly wish for, from classic barbecue traditions from the South of the USA to authentic Mexican cuisine. Diners can use a QR code to order food and drinks in a rustic atmosphere.
Spiseriet Trysil
At the Trysil Høyfjellssenter base station in the Trysil Høyfjellssenter at 830 metres
The Spiseriet Trysil restaurant serves Italian cuisine including pizzas and delicious pasta dishes. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is après-ski with live music. Families and children can choose from a special menu. There is a sun terrace for sunny days.

Knettsetra
Between Setertrekket and Høgekspressen at 670 metres
In the Knettsetra, diners eat in old log cabins in the middle of the ski resort: of Trysil. There is a sun terrace for sunny days and the rustic Stallen Pub with the neighbouring Hyggebar offer après-ski at the end of a day on the slopes.
